Hi, nice to meet you!

I’m Kelly, a graphic designer living in Portland, Oregon. Originally from Southern California, I made Portland my home in 2011 and haven’t looked back.

My venture into design began when I worked at Trader Joe’s. As someone with decent penmanship and artistic abilities, I was recruited to help out with signage in the store. I quickly became a fixture on the sign team and enjoyed the ability to exercise my creativity on the job. (Yes, all those chalkboards, murals and shelf-signs are hand-drawn by in-store artists!) I began exploring how I could further visual communication as a career and decided to go to school for graphic design.

As I already had a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Anthropology, I chose to attend an accelerated design program at Portland Community College. The education I received there was invaluable and helped launch my career into graphic design.

I enjoy trying my hand at new things and am curious by nature, always wanting to solve a problem. I’m an experienced print designer but have gladly taken on digital design challenges. I thoroughly enjoy working within the constraints of a brand while pushing boundaries to keep the identity relevant and evolving. I look forward to meeting you where you are and coming up with creative design solutions for you or your brand.

Warmly,
Kelly (she/her/hers)
